Our Turkey Day!!!

So when we left our driveway to start on our 2 day journey we times ourselves and we spent a total of 6 1/2 hours in the car!! But thing went suprisingly smooth. Anna-Grace slept the whole way there and the whole way back.

Needless to say everyone was overjoyed to see her. It's always nice to get to spend time with our families and just relax and stuff our faces.....that's pretty much all we did! Our Cowboys pulled of a nice Thanksgiving victory so Chris was Happy, now if they could just beat the Packers tomorrow we will be doing even better!

Not much to report our "little" girl will be 6 months old on Saturday!! I can't believe it!!!!!!! She is still growing like crazy and keeps me busy buying new clothes :-) She is just such a blessing and such a gift and we are so thankful for her!

Almost Turkey Day!!

Not much going on in the Williford world this week, just getting geared up for our long day of traveling on Thursday! We usually spend half the day in Wilson and then head to Fayetteville for the remainder of the day! It's usually pretty exhausting so I can only imagine how it will be this year having a 5 almost 6 month old. She is still such a prefect baby, still sleeping through the night, and we even survived her first cold, without loosing a WHOLE lot of sleep. It also helped that Chris's mom was here with us! We just got a BUMBO for Anna-Grace and she loves it! It really is helping her with sitting up, and she is turning into such a big girl! It won't be too long and she will be crawling all over the place!

Just wanted to give a quick update on what's going on with us. Keep checking back afeter Thanksgiving for lots of pictures!!

5 Months Already!!

Yep believe it or not Anna-Grace is 5 months old! We (as usual) have had a very eventful past couple of weeks, with Halloween, Anna-Grace's cousin Kairi's 1st Birthday, and the arrival of yet ANOTHER tooth! It's starting to come through, you can see the white part of it, and just like with the last one she is doing great! Sometimes I can't believe how lucky we are to have such a good baby.

As you can see from the picture Anna-Grace was a Dalmatian for Halloween, she looked so cute, but her costume was way to hot and we had to take her out of it.

I am still amazed every day at the new things she learns. She is still playing her music on her bouncy seat, but has also learned how to pull off her dragonflies and put them right in her mouth! She used to hate tummy time, but is now a bit more interested in it and can push up and look all around. Something tells me she will be crawling before too long! She is sitting up on her own some now, every now and again her head gets a little heavy, but she's doing great! We wieghed her today on our scale and she is 16 pounds and 2 ounces! We have started trying her on some solids...we have tried cereal, bananas and peas, and so far so good!

We took her to church today and dressed her all up, she looked so cute!

And last but not least, to get you in the holiday spirit, this next picture is of Anna-Grace's 1st visit with Santa!! She loved him!

NCSU 34 ECU 20

This weekend was another fun filled football weekend. The Pirates hosted their biggest rival NC State and as most of you know the family had to take a backseat to our Pirates and cheer on Chris's favorite the Wolfpack. Anna-Grace once again was a HUGE hit on the tailgating field and brought her daddy's team luck again! She was truly adorable and Chris and I both said we can't wait for the day that she gets excited about a tailgate weekend! A lot of people were dissapointed she was not wearing purple, but they still thought she was so cute!

We took her to the pumpkin patch the weekend before last. We went with our friends Steve and Shannon and their little girl Ashlyn, I don't know that they enjoyed it, but it was a nice family outing and we look forward to next year when they are running around and picking out their own pumpkins! We are getting all prepared for Anna-Grace's 1st Halloween, she is going to be a Dalmation and I can hardly wait.

She just got her first tooth yesterday, it's been trying to make it's way through for a couple of weeks now, but finally broke through yesterday. It is by far the cutest little tooth ever and she is really doing great with it....a far cry from all the horror stories I have heard about other kids teething.

Chris and I are doing well, I just celebrated my birthday Last Thursday the 18th Chris's mom was here watching the baby so we got to go for a nice dinner and then his dad and step mom kept her so we could go out with some friends Sat night after the game. I look back on all the changes that have taken place in just one year and it really baffles me at how different things are, but I wouldn't trade them for anythign in the world!

Football Season is here!

Fall is finally getting here and things are starting to cool off! It has been so hot this summer we are so glad for the cool weather. And it couldn't have arrived sooner with football season here! So far September has proved to be a busy moth for the Williford family, we took Anna-Grace to her first tailgate for the ECU vs. UNC game, she must have brought them luck becuase we won by a field goal with 2 seconds left in the game! She looked so cute in her ECU outfit. Then the next weekend my dad and 2 nephews were here visiting. This weekend we took a quick trip to Fayetteville for my nephew Kristopher's 16th birthday, and last but not least next weekend my cousin Tera is coming to visit from Arizona. I have not seen her since my wedding so I am so excited to hang out with her! October should keep us pretty busy as well with 2 home football games and, the most important........my birthday!
I feel like I say this everyday but Anna-Grace is growing so fast...everyday she discovers something new about her surroundings. She is quickly getting bored with her bouncy chair, and more excited about her play gym and toys. She is still sleeping through the night (thank god!, and loves to laugh and smile! Everyday is a new adventure for her. Believe it or not our child also LOVES football. If Chris has it on the TV she has to be where she can see it, we may not have had a boy, but for now Chris has a little sports buddy:-) She goes back to the doctor in a week for her 4 month check-up and shots :-( Last time I weighed her she was a whopping 12.4 pounds!
I put another slideshow up below of some pictures from tailgating and just some random pictures! Enjoy and until next time....

Life is good!

Well Anna-Grace is 5 days away from being 3 months old. We can hardly believe it. I must say she truly is the perfect child, she sleeps through the night (most nights) and only cries when she is gassy or hungry. I can't believe how great of a baby she is. she has recently discovered several new things, one being her feet...she will stare at them for 10 minutes like she has no clue where they came from. She has also been making all kinds of noises like she is trying to talk to you, and laughs like I have never seen before. Her daddy and I are apparently pretty funny people to her. She is starting to get somewhat interested in toys, right now she loves her giraffe that sits by her changing table and her Baby Einstein blocks. Speaking of Baby Einstein, we recently purchased her first DVD and she loves it...so much so I ended up buying all 23 DVD's on E-Bay. Work is going good for me, I may have possibly just landed another big account. They are small right now but show MAJOR growth potential and hopefully we will be with them when they get there. Classes have also started back for me, so we will see how being a full-time student working full-time and being a mother and a wife work out for me :-) Chris's summer schedule just ended and he is excited for the kids to get back to school. Now he gets to spend more time with his little princess. As we speak he is on his way back from a weekend long golf trip to Myrtle Beach. A much needed break and time to hang out with jsut the boys!
Since Chris was gone this weekend I spent my first weekend alone with Anna-Grace and we did just fine. I was worried about not having him here but we managed. My friend Kristel and her little boy (Anna-Grace's future husband) came over and played and me and Anna-Grace went shopping and out to eat at Waffle House today.
Other than that we just spend most of our time watching our little one continue to grow, according to our home scale she has reached the 10 lb mark and she is sooo long. I think she might be tall and yes, she still looks exactly like her daddy . We are getting geared up for football season ECU plays UNC and STATE at home this year we can't wait to see Anna-Grace in her NC State cheerleader outfit!
Below are some of the latest pictures of Anna-Grace and her playdates and some from her 1st professional pictures! Enjoy!

Where does the time go?

It's hard to believe our little girl is over 2 months old now! If you have not seen her since she was born, you would hardly recognize her! Her little legs are getting chunky and her little cheeks are storing up food for the winter. She went for her 2 month check up last Thursday and weighed 9lbs and 6 oz and was 22 1/4 inches long. She got 3 shots and up until today she was doing fine, but I think she is starting to get a little bit sick, we are taking her to the doctor today. Other than that she's doing great. Her eyes are still blue and her hair gets redder everyday! She has recently discovered that she has a tongue and will stick it out at you in a heartbeat, she is moving her hands around like crazy too....now if she could just get them to go where she wants them to go when she wants them to go there.
Mom and Dad are doing well too. Thanks to my mom we actually got to get away for a weekend and go to a wedding in Charlotte(that's where the pic is from). We had so much fun it's nice to get away, but we definitely missed our little girl! It's been tough going back to work and having to leave her every day. Even though she is just with Nana and Papa it is still tough. Someone needs to hurry up and win the lottery so I don't have to work anymore :-) Until then looks like I just have to tough it out!

Can't believe it's been almost 7 weeks!

Make a PhotoShow Full Size

Just wanted to create this blog to kep everyone of our friends and families updated on what's going on with us......with so much going on, it's hard to pick up the phone and call everyone and update them so I figured this would be easier. So keep checking back for updates, we will try to keep it as current as possible! We can hardly believe that 6 weeks has gone by so fast! Anna-Grace is growing so big, and according to the scale at our house weighs 8lbs and 4 oz. She is finally growing into her 0-3 months stuff, which I am so grateful for....finally no more onesies! Everyone always told me that they grow up so fast...I am starting to realize they were right. A friend of mine just had her little girl last week and we went to the hospital to see them. When I held that little 6lb 11 oz girl I realized just how much Anna-Grace had grown!

The dogs love her just as much as we do! I was kind of worried at how they would be especially since they are so big, but they are really gentle with her and love giving her little kisses (especially Tyson).

I went for my 6 week check-up yesterday, and aside from headaches and back pain (side effects from my spinal) and some mild pain in my tummy things are A OK! Anna-Grace goes for her 2 month check-up on August 2nd...where she will have to get her first set of shots. Daddy will definitely have to go with us because I don't think I will be able to stand to see her in pain:-(I am also heading back to work tomorrow, I still technically have 2 weeks before I have to go back, but I need to start getting my body and mind prepared for getting 2 people ready in the morning (as most of you know I do good to get myself ready :-). Not looking forward to going back but you gotta do what you gotta do.

Chris is doing well, still grinding out those summer days praying for it to be time for the kids to go back to school. Not only am I going to miss Anna-Grace when I go back to work, but I will also miss being home when Chris gets home for lunch....and dinner for that matter. He is such a great dad and I always knew he would be. Anna-Grace has truly blessed our lives we could not have asked for God to give us a more perfect child (yeah I know ask us that again when she is 16!). I put a slideshow up of some pictures from our summer so far, hope you enjoy :-)
