First Haircut

Now before I start, I know what you are thinking. The child hardly has any hair, what in the world did I cut? Though she does not have much hair on top or on the sides, she was sporting a nice mullet in the back. So I decided to take her with me when I had my hair done and had my hairdresser trim it up in the back so she doesn't look like Billy Ray Cyrus :-)

She did so good, sat there just as still as could be. And yes I saved the hair!LOL

It's snowing, snowing, snowing.....

We woke up this morning to a Winter Wonderland outside. It's maybe the 2nd or 3rd time it's snowed since we have had Anna-Grace so I was oh so excited when we decided to close the office. I woke Anna-Grace up and showed her the snow, the title of this blog came from the statement she made for the next 30 minutes....it's snowing, snowing, snowing. Chris's mom is here helping us this week due to some changes at work so her and I got Anna-Grace all bundled up and headed outside. AG was so funny because she didn't want to walk on the snow. When I put her on the grass (the only place the snow was sticking at that point) she said Uh-Oh like she messed something up. That thought only lasted a few minutes then she was having her Granny make her snowballs and throwing them at me. We came inside and started some soup and baked some cookies for Daddy.

Little did we know that was no where near the end of the snow. When Anna-Grace woke up from her nap you couldn't even tell we had been outside. I think we got 2-3 inches while she was sleeping! Anyway it was a blast, we just wish Daddy didn't have to work....here's hoping he makes it home tonight safely!

I have a WONDERFUL husband!

Not sure if any of you watched the CMT show Can you Duet. But there was a couple on there name Joey and Rory. They are a husband and wife duo and they were my favorite. They didn't win, but have since put out a CD that is just as awesome as they were on the show!

A week or so ago Chris was looking at their myspace page and found that they were going to be in Clayton NC. So we got together with some friends and made the trp to see them. It was such an awesome show. They way they sing together you can almost feel how much they love each other. It even showed when they were singing "Grandma's got her Daisy Dukes On". :-) The highlight of the night had to be after the show when they signed autographs and posed for pictures! I got to meet them and even bought Rory a beer! We even got an autographed picture for Anna-Grace, mom and dad can't go away for a night and not bring our Princess back something.

All in all Chris and I had such a blast! With all the cutbacks I have had to make with my staff and the overwhelming amount of work I am going to have waiting for me tomorrow it was so nice to get away and not have to think about it.
I can't say thanks enough to Chris for planning such a special night!

Christmas at Grandma Leens!

Since my Grandmother was in the hospital on Christmas Day we decided to wait until my Aunt, Uncle and Cousins were able to make their annual trip from PA before we had Christmas at her house. It has been since before I gradated High School that we have had that many people at Grandma Leen's but it was so nice. We took lots of pictures so I will only post a few. It was worth more than words will ever be able to describe to see how happy it made my Grandma to have all of us there.

My Grandma loved the Elvis calendar we got her!

All the Grandkids and Great-Grankids!

Me with my beautiful cousins!

Me Anna-Grace and my Grandma!

Opening more presents!

More fun with the Pauls

The day after Christmas we took a quick trip over to see Tommy, Kristel and Colin. We let the kids have a little play date while the dad's watched Batman and Kristel and I drank our Christmas stresses away with a few glasses of wine!

2nd, 3rd and 4th Stops

Well we started off our Christmas late as usual, we woke up at 7am and quickly realized there was no way we were going to make it to Wilson by 8am. We woke Anna-Grace up and brought her downstairs so she could take a quick look at her presents Santa brought her. Then in a Williford rush hurried to get ready and on to Wilson. THANK GOD we packed the car the night before!

We got to Pa Pa's around 9am and started opening presents right away (since everyone had been waiting on us for an hour!). Anna-Grace was able to help Aunt Ann play Santa this year and passed out all the cards to everyone. Considering she was suffering from a cold and the beginnings of an ear infection she did great! Her favorite present by far was from her Aunt Ann who gave her a Cabbage Patch Baby complete with bottle and all. All day long Anna-Grace had to feed her baby becuase she was hunggie!

We then quickly said our thank you's and goodbye's and headed to Fayetteville to my Grandma Teenie's! We got there early this year and thank goodness we did becuase she was pretty tired and slept most of the day!

Our last stop of the day was a quick trip to Womack Hospital....my Grandma Leen had a heart attack a couple of days before Christmas and was not able to go home until the day after Christmas. We were going to have Christmas at her house on Saturday, but we just had to take Anna-Grace to see her on Christmas Day so she could see her all dressed up in her Christmas best! Anna-Grace sat so still on her hospital bed that the nurse even took blood from my Grandma while Anna-Grace was sitting with her.

Then we ended up back home! Anna-Grace was such a trooper all day long, and was so excited to get home and open up her presents Santa left her. She got a NC State Tricycle, a BIG coloring book, tons of books, A dora Backpack, Puzzles, clothes and lots more stuff. Santa must have known what a good girl she was all year!

First Stop Kathy and Ed's

So tonight was our 1st of many Christmas stops. We went to Chris's sisters house and had our Christmas with them! Anna-Grace and her cousin Kairi were so much fun to watch, it's amazing how different this Christmas is from last year they were passing out presents and so excited about the things they got. Her couin Thorne however, was either sleeping or eating a bow! Next year we will have all 3 of them running around!

Stay tuned for more pictures....we still have 4 more stops to go!

Getting in the Christmas Spirit

So last weekend I was not feeling well at all. This weekend I was in desperate need of something to get me in the Christmas spirit....what better than taking Anna-Grace to get her pictures taken! We went early enough in the morning that we didn't have to wait long and she did just fine! I can't believe how big she is getting and how big of a show off she is!

There is Christmas music on this slideshow, so you may want to pause the music player at the bottom of the blog :-)

More busy times for the Williford's!!!

Sorry I did not get a chance to update after Thanksgiving, but we had company the weekend after and I have been sick every since. Just now starting to get some energy back!

However we did have a wonderful Thanksgiving. We switched things up a bit and went to my families first some of my Aunts and Uncles have never met Anna-Grace so it was nice to get to spend some extra time with them. Asusual it was a rush though, 4 houses and over 4 hours in the car. Anna-Grace was a trooper again this year, only took a 30 minute nap and stayed up until 10pm, but she was not that ill (Thank GOD!).
I also made my Grandma's banana pudding by myself and I don't think I completely ruined it! I think it tasted kind of good :-)

After we got back Thursday night we were preparing for my cousin and her family to come in from Arizona. I haven't seen Tera in almost a year and have never met the newest addition to their family Bailey so it was so good to spend time with them. We had our little girls 3 days apart and it was nice that they could finally meet each other. I miss so much that she doesn't live here anymore....I am surrounded by Chris's family so much that it's nice to have a peice of mine here even if it's just for a day!

What a bubbleful day!!

Today was such a beautiful day after Anna-Grace and I finished all of our errands, we decided to spend some time blowing some bubbles. Steve, Shannon and Ashlyn got Anna-Grace a Lion that blows bubbbles for her birthday and man that thing spits them out fast. In not time the whole street was covered with bubbles and we both had a blast!

Pee-Pee in the Potty

With Daddy working and a weekend where we can finally stay at home, I decided to give myself a challenge and start the potty training process. So far I must say my child is AMAZING.

We have a chart, much similar to the ne my mom and sister used with my nephews where everytime she goes to the potty she gets to pick a sticker to put on her chart. So far we have had a day full of stickers and a DRY pull up! Maybe just maybe she will be out of diapers by the time she is 2!

I had to post this picture becuase I think that it's hilarious that everytime she sits on the potty she wants a book. I liked to eat hot dogs while I was on the potty (don't ask) and one of my nephews liked banana popsicles......I guess Anna-Grace will just read!! LOL

October has come and gone....

It is simply amazing to me how fast the months go by these days! It was truly a BIG and BUSY October for the Williford family. With football games, my bithday, Halloween and Anna-Grace running all over the place we don't know which way we are going most days!!

Below is a little slideshow of some of our family outings with Anna-Grace in October, we took her to the Pumpkin Patch to pick out her pumpkins. We went to Briley's Farm last year and had such a blast (more so than AG did b/c she was only 4 months old! LOL. This year was much different and a lot more fun. She loved seeing all the animals at the petting zoo and after much thought finally picked out the perfect pumpkin!

We also have some pics of Miss Anna-Grace and I carving the pumpkins. We had a rough couple weeks with one of Chris's family friends in the hospital and a funeral. The pumpkin carving got put on hold until the last minute so we had to carve them while Daddy was at work, but Anna-Grace and I along with Chris's mom got the job done! In case you can't tell my pumpkin was a Monster, Chris's was a Skull and Crossbones and Anna-Grace's was a butterfly....you will notice a pattern here in just a second.

Last but not least we have the wonderful Halloween Night. Anna-Grace was a butterfly one of her favorite things. We just took her to 2 houses here in our neighborhood (since she doesn't eat candy)...however she helped us pass out candy and walked around flapping her wings (arms LOL) until it was time to go to bed! She is gorwing and changing so much and seeing how 1 little costume makes her so happy just warms our hearts!

ECU 24, Houston 41

Well, as usual it has been another fun filled weekend for the Williford's. Despite the fact that Houston came to town and KILLED the pirates. We took Anna-Grace to her 2nd tailgate of the year, this was really her 1st offical tailgate since the last one was right after Hurrican Hannah, and we didn't get our usual spot! We got there early and made sure to have plenty of toys avaliable for her to play with.

However, it didn't much matter becuse all she wanted to do was walk around. Last year we just sat her in her bouncy seat and carried her around.....this year things are WAY different! She kept wanting her daddy to walk her around to different tailgate spots so she could dance and listen to the music. We think she is going to be quite the social butterfly!

It turned out to be a nice day and after Nana and Papa came to pick Anna-Grace up, we just sat around talked, laughed and relaxed. Some how in the whole planning of this weekends tailgate I ended up being the ONLY girl, but I suffered through it!! LOL

We ended our day with a night out with some f our good friends and as always had a blast.....now it is time for the work week to begin! UUUUGGGGHHHH!

Silly Baby!!!

Anna-Grace was all dressed up in her Wolfpack Gear on Tuesday. She was wearing her hat while trying to walk around the house....not sure what she was doing, but the video is hilarious!

No worries, she didn't hurt her self, the bill of her hat took most of the blow! She got right back up and started all over again!

Busy Little Bee!

Anna-Grace is about 90% towards being a full fleged walker! She is into anything she can reach, and proving to be more of a busy body than we thought she would be. Here lately she has been attached at the hip to her daddy, I guess it's true she's a daddy's girl! From watching football to eating dinner sitting in his lap, she wants to be around him all the time.

She has recently learned how to sing her ABC's thanks to Leap and Choo-Choo Soul on Disney Channel....I swear she will be smarter than me before she starts pre-school!

Football season has arrived so our Saturdays are spent watching NC State, or Tailgating for the Pirates then we spend Sundays cheering for our Cowboys! We have even taught Anna-Grace TO's famous saying from the 07 season "gettcha popcorn ready"!
