What a bubbleful day!!

Today was such a beautiful day after Anna-Grace and I finished all of our errands, we decided to spend some time blowing some bubbles. Steve, Shannon and Ashlyn got Anna-Grace a Lion that blows bubbbles for her birthday and man that thing spits them out fast. In not time the whole street was covered with bubbles and we both had a blast!

Pee-Pee in the Potty

With Daddy working and a weekend where we can finally stay at home, I decided to give myself a challenge and start the potty training process. So far I must say my child is AMAZING.

We have a chart, much similar to the ne my mom and sister used with my nephews where everytime she goes to the potty she gets to pick a sticker to put on her chart. So far we have had a day full of stickers and a DRY pull up! Maybe just maybe she will be out of diapers by the time she is 2!

I had to post this picture becuase I think that it's hilarious that everytime she sits on the potty she wants a book. I liked to eat hot dogs while I was on the potty (don't ask) and one of my nephews liked banana popsicles......I guess Anna-Grace will just read!! LOL

October has come and gone....

It is simply amazing to me how fast the months go by these days! It was truly a BIG and BUSY October for the Williford family. With football games, my bithday, Halloween and Anna-Grace running all over the place we don't know which way we are going most days!!

Below is a little slideshow of some of our family outings with Anna-Grace in October, we took her to the Pumpkin Patch to pick out her pumpkins. We went to Briley's Farm last year and had such a blast (more so than AG did b/c she was only 4 months old! LOL. This year was much different and a lot more fun. She loved seeing all the animals at the petting zoo and after much thought finally picked out the perfect pumpkin!

We also have some pics of Miss Anna-Grace and I carving the pumpkins. We had a rough couple weeks with one of Chris's family friends in the hospital and a funeral. The pumpkin carving got put on hold until the last minute so we had to carve them while Daddy was at work, but Anna-Grace and I along with Chris's mom got the job done! In case you can't tell my pumpkin was a Monster, Chris's was a Skull and Crossbones and Anna-Grace's was a butterfly....you will notice a pattern here in just a second.

Last but not least we have the wonderful Halloween Night. Anna-Grace was a butterfly one of her favorite things. We just took her to 2 houses here in our neighborhood (since she doesn't eat candy)...however she helped us pass out candy and walked around flapping her wings (arms LOL) until it was time to go to bed! She is gorwing and changing so much and seeing how 1 little costume makes her so happy just warms our hearts!

ECU 24, Houston 41

Well, as usual it has been another fun filled weekend for the Williford's. Despite the fact that Houston came to town and KILLED the pirates. We took Anna-Grace to her 2nd tailgate of the year, this was really her 1st offical tailgate since the last one was right after Hurrican Hannah, and we didn't get our usual spot! We got there early and made sure to have plenty of toys avaliable for her to play with.

However, it didn't much matter becuse all she wanted to do was walk around. Last year we just sat her in her bouncy seat and carried her around.....this year things are WAY different! She kept wanting her daddy to walk her around to different tailgate spots so she could dance and listen to the music. We think she is going to be quite the social butterfly!

It turned out to be a nice day and after Nana and Papa came to pick Anna-Grace up, we just sat around talked, laughed and relaxed. Some how in the whole planning of this weekends tailgate I ended up being the ONLY girl, but I suffered through it!! LOL

We ended our day with a night out with some f our good friends and as always had a blast.....now it is time for the work week to begin! UUUUGGGGHHHH!

Silly Baby!!!

Anna-Grace was all dressed up in her Wolfpack Gear on Tuesday. She was wearing her hat while trying to walk around the house....not sure what she was doing, but the video is hilarious!

No worries, she didn't hurt her self, the bill of her hat took most of the blow! She got right back up and started all over again!

Busy Little Bee!

Anna-Grace is about 90% towards being a full fleged walker! She is into anything she can reach, and proving to be more of a busy body than we thought she would be. Here lately she has been attached at the hip to her daddy, I guess it's true she's a daddy's girl! From watching football to eating dinner sitting in his lap, she wants to be around him all the time.

She has recently learned how to sing her ABC's thanks to Leap and Choo-Choo Soul on Disney Channel....I swear she will be smarter than me before she starts pre-school!

Football season has arrived so our Saturdays are spent watching NC State, or Tailgating for the Pirates then we spend Sundays cheering for our Cowboys! We have even taught Anna-Grace TO's famous saying from the 07 season "gettcha popcorn ready"!

ECU 24 WVU 3

So Hurricane Hannah put a bit of a damper on our 1st home football game of the year, but after the wind stopped and the sun came out we headed out any way. We took Miss Anna-Grace out for a bit all sone up in her Pirate Gear and then her and I came home while Chris and his Bro-in-law Ed went to watch the Pirates beat West Virginia. Then Chris came home to listen to his Wolfpack beat William and Mary.........now if our Cowboys could win tomorrow it would be a GREAT weekend!

08 Watermelon Festival

Wow, so it's on;y 2:00pm and I am exhausted! We had such a bisy day already today. We woke up early and headed to meet Kristel, Colin, Kirstel's mom and Shannon to go to the 2008 Winterville Watermelon Festival Parade. It was Anna-Grace's 1st parade and she loved it. Of course she was all decked out in her Watermelon Outfit. Her favorite things in the parade were the HS bands(she danced and clapped her hands), and the Shriners that rode around on Alligator cars and sprayed water and bubbles. She waved at people and even said Princess when the Watermelon Festival Queen rode by. Then we met up with Daddy (he slept in late becuase he has to work tonight :-( ) and we had lunch, Anna-Grace had a corn dog and french fries.

We walked around some after that and Anna-Grace rode her 1st rides, she rode the Carousel 1st then some Bumble Bee ride. She liked them both a lot and didn't seem scared at all. She's such a dare devil. We ended our trip with some Dippin Dots Ice Cream and headed home. She is now upstairs knocked out for hours I am sure.

Almost There!

Tonight after Anna-Grace and I got home and we got her changed into her jammies, she treated her daddy and me. She would walk from him to me, then from me to him. She did it for about 10 minutes and got so excited because she knew she was doing something big! It's taking her a little while, but I think we are almost there. She will be walking in no time!

Give Me Three Steps..

So for those of you that did not hear my screams of joy last night, Anna-Grace finally took her first steps on her own! She only took three then sat down and laughed but she is well on her way to a full flegged toddler! Of course she did it when there was no camera around so no video or pics, but stay tuned I am sure it won't be long before we are chasing her around the house!

I think her walking had something to do with the Olymipcs being on.....maybe she will be in them one day :-)

Eye teeth are no walk in the park!

So the past week has been a bit challenging! When we came home from Raleigh we quickly discovered Miss Anna-Grace had an ear infection and ALL 4 of her eye teeth coming in. We went to the doctor on Monday and I stayed home with her. She didn't wake up during the night much but she's been real whinny and the wrost dirty diapers I have EVER had to change. 3 of them are in, with 1 more to go, so pray we make it thru the weekend!

The pictures I put up is AG showing off her new teeth, and playing with her favorite Fur Sibling Payton!

A Blast From The Past

This weekend my mom came up to keep Anna-Grace and Chris and I were treated to a weekend with old friends in Raleigh. It started out as just going to hang out with Tripp and Joe (an old friend that used to work at the bar with them). But once we got to Buckhead we saw TONS of Chris's old friends. It was a nice treat to see everyone and talk about old times.

Saturday we did a little bit of shopping (we had to bring Anna-Grace home a present), and had a yummy luch at The Cheesecake Factory. We are home now resting up a bit before the work week begins!

She's so Curious....

Anna-Grace is just getting so curious these days....she has always been very observant, even when she was very little. Unlike most babies that just go along with what they want, Anna-Grace has always been overly interested at what people around her are doing, watching your every move. Take for instance the top picture. I was sitting at the computer the other day with her in my lap looking at pictures, I kicked off my flip flops and all of a sudden she wanted to get down, so I put her standing up holding onto my legs. Well she quickly (and when I say quickly I mean it...she is fast as lightning these days) sat down and crawled over to my flip flops. Where for the next 30 minutes she tried to put them on like I do and kept saying "mommy shoes" it was just the cutest thing and luckily my camera was in reach.

The other pic is from her 1st adventure with fried chicken the other day. It was unfortunatley a big fat BOMB. For those of you that are not around Anna-Grace that much the poor child HATES to get her hands dirty, so needless to say the fried chicken was a no go for her she kept putting it down and holding her hands out for me to clean them......what a silly girl!

Mom's Night Out

Thanks to our wonderful husband's Kristel and I were treated to a Mom's Night Out this past Saturday night. We headed down to City Hotel and Bistro and listened to the Johnny Dollar Band, drank and danced the night away. It was nice to go out and just be silly for a night. We even ran into a few old friends. Thanks again Chris and Tommy! We love you!

Anderson Family Reunion!

Yesterday was the Anderson Family reunion. It was so much fun watching Anna-Grace play with her cousins. They had tons of great food and the weather was just perfect....though it could have been about 15 degrees cooler :-) Only got a chance to snap a few pics yesterday of Anna-Grace and Kairi, and my new Nephew Thorne!
