Anderson Family Reunion!

Yesterday was the Anderson Family reunion. It was so much fun watching Anna-Grace play with her cousins. They had tons of great food and the weather was just perfect....though it could have been about 15 degrees cooler :-) Only got a chance to snap a few pics yesterday of Anna-Grace and Kairi, and my new Nephew Thorne!

Fun in the Sun!

The Paul's invited Anna-Grace and I to the pool to play this afternoon. Anna-Grace and Colin are playing so well together! Anna-Grace did not know what to think about the whole pool thing since this one is way bigger than her baby pool at home. It took her a few minutes to adjust but then she was off. Splashing the water and kicking her feet, she got so good at kicking her feet that she would swim away from you when you tried to catch her. Daddy was working :-( so he didn't get to come and boy did we miss him!

Ashlyn Turns 1!!

Yesterday we were treated to a 1st birthday party at Shannon and Steve's for Miss Ashlyn. Anna-Grace was a bit confused since her 1st birthday was just a little over a month ago. She kept pointing to herself when you would ask her where the birthday girl was, and she was WAY to excited when it came time for Ashlyn to open her presents.
It was such a fun day all the food was yummy and Anna-Grace played so hard she fell asleep in the car on the way home!

Fun with the Paul Family

Last night we took Anna-Grace to go play with Colin. Tommy and Kristel just bought a house right around the corner so we headed over there so the kids could play. We got to watch some TV, eat some Pizza and even played some cards. Colin and Anna-Grace are so cute playing together......he even fed her some peperonni! We look forward to many fun nights with the Paul Family!

She Get's Sweeter Everyday........

So Miss Anna-Grace has got a new "baby". It's not really new, just something I found in her toybox the other day and gave to her. Well to my suprise she took to it and now is just the cutest little thing with her baby. She carries it around for a bit when she wakes up in the morning, and has to have it when she goes to bed at night. Chris and I both have to give the baby nite-nite kisses and hugs before they go to bed and so does Anna-Grace. She will even hold the baby and pat it's back like we do her. It's just the cutest thing! The picture we took was of her playing with her toys with the baby.......I think the baby needs a name, but for now it's just baby!!
The next picture is of her latest thing, when I put her on the floor to play with toys, she always crawls over to her toy box and pulls one toy out at a time and plays with it until all the toys are in the middle of the floor and I just happenede to catch her in the act. It sure makes a mess but she is happy doing it!

Last night was our annual Birthday Bash for Chris, and as usual it was a success! We did get rained on a bit, but it cleared up. We re-lived our college days and had the most amazing food, thanks to Chris's sister,as usual, she always makes the neatest treats! It was such a great time and it's so nice to get to hang out with our friends and relax right in our own backyard! Now Chris and I get to recover for the next 2 weeks :-)

It only took 26 years.....

But today my Grandma Teenie finally taught me how to make her famous from scratch banana pudding. Chris is working nights this weekend so at the last minute Anna-Grace and I decided to make a quick trip to Fayetteville. It's amazing how life's stress can build up and make you feel like you have lost your way but the second you go home things somehow just become clear. This has been a much needed trip for sometime now considering I have not been home since Christmas. We spent most of the day at Grandma Teenie's making sure I had every last detail of the pudding downpat. I have always loved going to her house, something about the location (in the middle of nowhere), just help you clear your mind and all of your troubles melt away. We even made a quick stop at my sisters to see her, my mom and nephews.

I got some cute pictures of Anna-Grace on my Grandma's swing that has been there since I was a kid, and her playing the same piano I played many times when I was her age! Even got one of the three of us.

It's been a while.........

Wow, so I had much better intentions for this site....planned on posting at least weekly, if not at least hitting Anna-Grace's major milestones, but looks like I got a bit off track. A lot has changed since the last blog, Chris got a new job and I got a promotion. It keeps both of us very busy but we seem to have adjusted. Things right now are CRAZY for me at work, and with just celebrating our Anniversary, Mother's Day, Father's Day, Anna-Grace's Birthday and Chris's Birthday shortly around the corner most day's I am not sure what I am doing!
Anna-Grace is still the absolute Angel she was the day we brought her home from the hospital. Still sleeping through the night with an occasional fight to get her to lay down. She LOVES to stand in her crib and scream "Otay Mama", which in her language means get me outta here. She is working on her 11th tooth, she has all 4 on top and bottom, got her 1st 2 molars and is working on the 3rd (we still think she's pat alligator but it has not been confirmed). She is not walking, but crawls all over the place now. What she lacks in mobility she more than makes up for in language....we have already learned to watch our "not so nice words" in her presence because she will quickly reapeat them. Her Aunt Becky says shes "advanced" but then again she's probably partial. She loves books and would much rather have you read her a book than watch cartoons. I am amazed everyday at her and the things she picks up. She truly is such a blessing!

I could update this thing for hours on what has happend since my last post but I will just leave it at this and just promise to update a lot more :-)
Above is one of Anna-Grace's 1 year pictures and one of the 3 of us from Chris's Step-Brothers wedding.

Our Turkey Day!!!
So when we left our driveway to start on our 2 day journey we times ourselves and we spent a total of 6 1/2 hours in the car!! But thing went suprisingly smooth. Anna-Grace slept the whole way there and the whole way back.
Needless to say everyone was overjoyed to see her. It's always nice to get to spend time with our families and just relax and stuff our faces.....that's pretty much all we did! Our Cowboys pulled of a nice Thanksgiving victory so Chris was Happy, now if they could just beat the Packers tomorrow we will be doing even better!
Not much to report our "little" girl will be 6 months old on Saturday!! I can't believe it!!!!!!! She is still growing like crazy and keeps me busy buying new clothes :-) She is just such a blessing and such a gift and we are so thankful for her!

Almost Turkey Day!!
Not much going on in the Williford world this week, just getting geared up for our long day of traveling on Thursday! We usually spend half the day in Wilson and then head to Fayetteville for the remainder of the day! It's usually pretty exhausting so I can only imagine how it will be this year having a 5 almost 6 month old. She is still such a prefect baby, still sleeping through the night, and we even survived her first cold, without loosing a WHOLE lot of sleep. It also helped that Chris's mom was here with us! We just got a BUMBO for Anna-Grace and she loves it! It really is helping her with sitting up, and she is turning into such a big girl! It won't be too long and she will be crawling all over the place!
Just wanted to give a quick update on what's going on with us. Keep checking back afeter Thanksgiving for lots of pictures!!

5 Months Already!!
Yep believe it or not Anna-Grace is 5 months old! We (as usual) have had a very eventful past couple of weeks, with Halloween, Anna-Grace's cousin Kairi's 1st Birthday, and the arrival of yet ANOTHER tooth! It's starting to come through, you can see the white part of it, and just like with the last one she is doing great! Sometimes I can't believe how lucky we are to have such a good baby.

As you can see from the picture Anna-Grace was a Dalmatian for Halloween, she looked so cute, but her costume was way to hot and we had to take her out of it.

I am still amazed every day at the new things she learns. She is still playing her music on her bouncy seat, but has also learned how to pull off her dragonflies and put them right in her mouth! She used to hate tummy time, but is now a bit more interested in it and can push up and look all around. Something tells me she will be crawling before too long! She is sitting up on her own some now, every now and again her head gets a little heavy, but she's doing great! We wieghed her today on our scale and she is 16 pounds and 2 ounces! We have started trying her on some solids...we have tried cereal, bananas and peas, and so far so good!
We took her to church today and dressed her all up, she looked so cute!

And last but not least, to get you in the holiday spirit, this next picture is of Anna-Grace's 1st visit with Santa!! She loved him!

NCSU 34 ECU 20

This weekend was another fun filled football weekend. The Pirates hosted their biggest rival NC State and as most of you know the family had to take a backseat to our Pirates and cheer on Chris's favorite the Wolfpack. Anna-Grace once again was a HUGE hit on the tailgating field and brought her daddy's team luck again! She was truly adorable and Chris and I both said we can't wait for the day that she gets excited about a tailgate weekend! A lot of people were dissapointed she was not wearing purple, but they still thought she was so cute!

We took her to the pumpkin patch the weekend before last. We went with our friends Steve and Shannon and their little girl Ashlyn, I don't know that they enjoyed it, but it was a nice family outing and we look forward to next year when they are running around and picking out their own pumpkins! We are getting all prepared for Anna-Grace's 1st Halloween, she is going to be a Dalmation and I can hardly wait.

She just got her first tooth yesterday, it's been trying to make it's way through for a couple of weeks now, but finally broke through yesterday. It is by far the cutest little tooth ever and she is really doing great with it....a far cry from all the horror stories I have heard about other kids teething.
Chris and I are doing well, I just celebrated my birthday Last Thursday the 18th Chris's mom was here watching the baby so we got to go for a nice dinner and then his dad and step mom kept her so we could go out with some friends Sat night after the game. I look back on all the changes that have taken place in just one year and it really baffles me at how different things are, but I wouldn't trade them for anythign in the world!
